Why crew assignment is missing, and how to turn it on
Solo workspaces hide crew controls until Team Modules are unlocked. Adding people to the team does not do it.
Updated September 14, 2026
If you signed up as a one-person business, your workspace is in solo mode. Solo mode hides the crew controls throughout the app: the job form has no “assign crew” step, the job page shows the work as yours, and crew size is fixed at one.
Unlocking Team Modules
- Look for the Team Modules prompt in the sidebar. It is only shown to owners.
- Choose to unlock. If your plan covers a team, the crew controls appear immediately across the app.
- If your workspace is on a one-person plan, you will be taken to plan and billing to move to a plan that includes a team.
Once unlocked, the assign-crew step appears on the job form, the crew panel appears on each job, and crew size becomes editable. Existing jobs are unaffected — nothing is reassigned.
What the sales rep tag actually does
Marking somebody as a sales rep tags them for estimate appointment assignment and for the calendar's rep-versus-crew filter. It never changes a person's role or what they are allowed to do, so it will not grant access to anything they could not already reach.
