Finding an answer

Where to look first, what each part of the help in the app is for, and how to reach a person.

Updated September 14, 2026

There are four kinds of help in the app, and they answer different questions. Knowing which is which saves a lot of hunting.

Search, for where something is

The search box at the top of the app searches your actual records — customers, jobs, invoices, equipment — and every page in the app, including the help articles. If you know the name of a thing, or roughly what a page is called, start there.

Help articles, for how something works

The help center answers questions about how the app behaves: why a control is missing, what a setting affects, what happens after you press something. These are written to be read away from the screen they describe.

Tutorials, for being shown

Tutorials walk you through your own workspace, pointing at the real controls as you go. Nothing is created or changed unless you choose to save it, so they are safe to run on live data.

Tooltips, for one field

The small question marks beside labels explain what that particular value affects or what goes wrong when it is left out. They are there for the moment you are filling something in.

When none of that answers it

Send us the question. It arrives with the page you were on and the details of your workspace already attached, so nobody has to ask you which screen you meant.
