Leads your crew pass on from site

Crew members can send you somebody who asked for a quote. What they can do with a lead, and what stays with the office.

Updated September 14, 2026

The person most likely to meet your next customer is already standing in their neighbor's yard. Crew members can pass on somebody who came out to ask for a quote, without needing access to anything else about leads.

What the crew member does

From the field app they give a name and either a phone number or an email address — one of the two is required, because a name on its own is a note, not a lead. They can add what the person asked about and any context worth having.

  • The source is always recorded as a referral. They cannot claim it came from somewhere else.
  • A double tap on a bad connection will not create the lead twice.
  • That is the whole of their access. They cannot change a lead's status, assign it, price it, or convert it to a customer.

What you see

The lead appears in your leads list as new and unassigned. It is deliberately not assigned to the crew member who sent it — they cannot act on it, and a lead that looks owned is a lead nobody picks up.
